3M Carton Sealing Tape - 3.5 Mil Heavy Duty - Hot Melt Based adhesive. Super strong pressure sensitive polypropylene tape for repetitive volume packaging. This tape features a strong abrasion resistant backing and the most consistent adhesive system available. Polyester film backing is water resistant for added security. Superior Performance Box Sealing Tape 355 Product Description Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 355 is a superior performance packaging tape used for box sealing, splicing, recooperage and other demanding packaging applications. This product has a strong abrasion resistant backing and a very consistent pressure sensitive hot melt adhesive system available. Scotch® Superior Performance Box Sealing Tape 355 Application Techniques An extensive line of application equipment including hand held manual dispensers and semi-automatic and fully automatic equipment is available. Application of Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 355 is most easily accomplished at room temperature. At colder temperatures, approaching 32°F (0°C), the adhesive becomes more firm. Once applied, Scotch® Tape 355 performs well throughout the normal temperature ranges typically encountered by packaged products in shipping and storage environments. Storage Conditions Store in a clean, dry place. Temperature of 40-80°F (4-26°C) and 40 to 50% relative humidity are recommended.
